Have you ever had a premonition? Did you heed it?
Submitted by aynge.
Yep. I have had dreams of things that I couldn't possibly know of. IE: woke one night to a very loud ear shattering scream. With a feeling that something was wrong with my boyfriend. Then I found out he was injured on the job. He was a roofer and spilt the hot tar on himself. I also dreamed of a house, I could describe the yard, the street, the inside of the house. I saw a little boy playing in a sand box in the corner of the yard. It was my b/f's house that he grew up in. What the heck was this scary connection that I had with him?
Since then there have been little things. I used to be able to be able to read a deck of cards. I know what the next card was at least 80% of the time.
Do you remember your dreams?
most of the time. If they stand out for some reason or other then yes. but if they are not unusual and if I am very tired, then I don't.
What vacations would you most like to take in the next five years?
Presented by Intel, Sponsors of Tomorrow.
South Carolina, Europe, any place off the continet, I have not left this continent and would like to just to say that I have.
If you had one day to spend $100,000 - and you had to spend it totally selfishly - what would you buy?
HHmmm. I would buy myself everything that I need for a top of the line sewing room, Sewing machine, the best one, a quilting machine, embrodery machine, a new top of the line serger. Then with what was left over, then personal things, car, moped, jewelry. Wowsers you could actually buy a lot.
- sewing machines 5800 (serger, quilter, embroidery, sewing)
- car 68600
- moped 5600
- jewelry 12000
- clothes/shoes/accessories 8000
dreams........... ;D

lack of sleep. I am finding it a tad rough trying to sleep when I am the only one in the house. I have to have the tv going to block out noises, but still any noise and I wake up. Is tough considering I can sleep through a houseful of noisy people. I remember once going to Wayne & Steven's apartment, we congregated there, others brought over their computers and game systems and they all stayed up late and played. But me, I just made my bed in the middle of the floor and fell asleep.
Guess I like the crowd. Kim likes the quiet. HHmm, opposites.
Why do you blog?

It started to keep family members updated. But has evolved into venting, sharing, etc. My mind doesn't keep track of dates like other people. I dont' associate events/happenings with years or dates, so it helps me remember. I find once I write about something it has a better chance of being retained. Not that writing things automatically makes me retain it, just that it has a better chance.
Plus I find it more convenient and that I tend to share more when I blog. Once I write a blog I like to review it and make sure it does make some sense.
Who do you write down as your Emergency Contact? Why did you pick this person?
My daughter. Because when I think of emergency situations, I think of her first. If she isn't close at hand, then my spouse, then if he's not close by, a list of names runs thru my mind, and I pick the next likley person. Preferably somone close.
I remember when I ended up in the hospital, they were not going to let me leave after my ultra sound, and you know, I could not think of who to call. The person would have had to be in the same city, and me calling would not have had to inconvenience them. silly how we think like that. Here I am about to have emergency surgery, and I am thinking of not disturbing others while trying to meet my need to have someone there with me. In the end, I ended up going thru 2 surgeries, by myself, with no emotional support, no one to hold my hand, no one to tell me I was going to be okay, that the hurt of the lose would heal over time.
Doh, who woulda thought that this question would bring out such a response.

If you were to open up a business of your own, what would it be?

I always envisioned a craft store of sorts. A giant interactive store, come in, go thru native history, native arts, on site artists, traditional inro - ie dancers, etc. Then finally at the end the craft store.
That's me first choice, second is an internet based craft sales. I know, it's doable, but....once I get rid of that but... then it will be possible. (but = fear)
What do you collect?
Mainly fabrics, no big surrpise there. But other crafty things as well, wool, beads, paper, etc.
