I want to get off.
LOL, it seems to be non stop these days. I guess that happens when you become involved with kids.
Monday night is language class, woot, I am happy to be involved in that again, however, when they serve their food, its traditional, was deer soup this time.
Tuesday night - was an open house at the recreation/school, was fun, had hot dogs and burgers. I cheated and brought home two burgers for kim's dinner
Wednesday - tonight is family night. And I hear the recreation department is putting on rock climbing,
Thursday
Friday
Saturday - we squeeze in thrift shopping, depending on funds that is.
Sunday - Kim and I spend time with his parents and then go play bingo
I dont' know if it is good or bad, but I have developed a technique to get Darius to sleep. When I go to tuck him in, he ususally conks out within 5 to 10 minutes. The secret is patience, you have to stay with him until he is fully conked out, otherwise he will just get himself all worked up again and be awake.
off to Winnipeg in the morning.
Oi, I hate it when you ask for a service and it is agreed on and blam, it doesn't happen.
I aksed to have my payroll packages delivered today instead of tomorrow, because I am off to Winnipeg and I wanted to make sure that I had the packages and got them ready for distribution. I called last thursday and they rep said there shouldn't be a problem with this.
So I waited today for the delivery, I received one package and the other is still in the delivery system somewhere. OI. Now what?
When I phone to ask about my package, they investigated and said it wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow. I asked for first thing in the morning, but it can't be guarenteed. They are going to check to see if I can pick up my package at the depot first thing in the morning and get back to me.
DOH.
Was outside a house, there was quite a few people around, when, way over on a mountain, you could see smoke, then you could see flames coming over the mountain. Then you could see the flames traveling in the wind and lighting fires here and there, it was travelling very quickly and we were all running to leave the area. People were jumping into cars, on motor bikes, etc and rushing to leave. I couldn’t find a vehicle to get into, the person with me, a child I think, jumped on the back of a motor bike, and then I tried to do the same, pleading with everyone there for someone to give me a ride.
I kept running down the road, in the same direction traffic was going, parts of the side of the road were on fire. Someone in a truck pulled over and as I went to jump in, I was afraid, then talked myself into getting in as his truck was the same color as my shirt, turquoise, which meant he was safe. He was an old man, wrinkled, grey hear and beard. I got in and he drove back towards the fire as he was looking for a place to turn around.
Then I was running down the road again trying to get a ride, I saw a work vehicle, it was one of WFN’s Bylaw officers, I asked him for a ride, but he said no cuz he was on official business and pointed to a funny looking vehicle, was kind of like a carnival ride, a box with seats, and if you pushed the bar it drove. I seemed to be the only one in it.
We travelled a long way, then stopped at a school, there were people wall to wall in the gym. I was drawing with Hunter, he tossed a pink crayon and a whole bunch of kids jumped to grab it. I explained to Amber that I had to go to the washroom and that she better watch Hunter as there were kids ready to pounce on his toys.
I was fearful that the fire would catch up with us before we got up in the morning and was going to look outside after the washroom.
Then I woke up.
LOL, went to family night with the family last night. Dinner was delish. Hunter didn't want to stay in the baby room without one of us with him last night, so we took turns.
I got the last shift with him. He wanted to play bowling, impossible to do with all the kids in there, other kids would come over and knock it over, etc. So I said, okay Hunter lets read a story. BOOM, I no sooner said story and 3 other kids crowded around to hear as well.
As I was reading, Hunter pointed out a spider and a bug, then each child after that wanted to point each out as well.
After the first book (I read 3), I asked the kids what their names were, then I said okay this is Hunter and I am Gayle.
LOL - Hunter stops in his tracks, stares at me blinking and says 'Nana! you are Nana!'
Guess I got told.
damn knee. The run the other night, the weather threatening ot storm, has all piled up and made the knee very sore. Been limping since yesterday.
last night we Amber and I took the boys for a ride/run. Ride for them, run for us. HUFF PUFF, huff, puff. Phew, I didn't know that I could jog, and bonus, I didn't fall over and die after our run.
We went all the way down the end of the road behind us, Cougar road.
I should try to do that 3 times a week and see what happens.
Poor Kim, they sent him home early from work last night. He sounds like he is pretty sick. Hope he manages to sleep it off today.
that darn blueberry hand lotion is going to forever haunt me. I discovered that I was allergic to it, so brought it to the office to give away, and the person that decided to take it says 'oh I'll use it here at the office'. CRAP.
And she has gone by my office at least 4 times already today. My eyes barely get focused when blam she goes by again. :P
bingo sunday night with Reg & Dawne. We was playing away, we always drink ice water. Kim got us all a cup, bout half way thru the night I go to take a sip, the cup was half empty by then, and DAMN, there was a freakin hair in my cup. I C K !
Monday we goes for breakfast. I am almost finished, only have a couple forkfuls of hashbrowns left and I get the first one and lo and behold but there is a damn hair. I C K !
Good grief.
totally cool to make a plan and stick to it? Yes, I have the ability to plan, but I dont' have the discipline to stick to the plan.
I gave up making plans when they always went awry. I just finished a plan and want to try and stick to it. If it works, sweet. Just hope that I am not setting myself up for disapointment.
Mayhap, if I can focus on Mar 12, 2010 and Jun 18, 2010 I can keep it in focus.

Sun - Sep 6 - We left early, got to Golden at about 1030, I felt ill, don't know if it was something that I ate or the fact that I hadn't eaten or had anythign to drink. Felt somewhat better after eating. Visited with Ken and Liz. Got home about 2 or 3.

Fri - Sep 11 - Tarz's memorial. Kim took a short nap. Memorial was set for 2 pm, so we met Peter at about 12 to have a bite to eat before the memorial. Turned out reall good, we expected about 25 and ended up with about 50. We then went with Peter for a bit, then to E&J's for Chinese.
Sat - Sep 12 - went to meet Peter again before he left. Then we went to E&J's, found Lynn had left, and Reg&Dawne& Ernie were headed for breaky, we went with them. Came home for a bit then got called to go to E&J's for dinner with the fam. Got home and A& I went out for a few hours.
Sun - Sep 13 - Kim, Ernie and Reg went to spread the ashes. He didn't get back till about 12. He rested for a couple of hours then we were going to meet Reg, Dawne and Ernie at the bingo hall. DOH, found out it was a highstakes sunday, which means they was paying out 1000 regular games., and that it gets filled up quickly. We rushed out the door and barely got seats. Saved a couple for Reg&Dawne & Ernie. Then only Reg&Dawne came. Dawne won 1000 on the vary last game we played. She also took us for Boston's Pizza, and gave Kim and I a bit of cash for saving them seats. Amber and I went out for a couple of hours again.
